Trigon tried adorable.

Ok, so these commercials are a little bit old, but they are adorable! The health insurance company Trigon BlueCross BlueShield launched an ad campaign employing adorable children as their spokespeople. The series of three ads promotes the benefits of choosing Trigon BlueCross BlueShield, while letting kids tell some funny stories. The ads are simple, yet brilliant. A black background, one camera, and little kids, who knew it could be that easy?

The kids in the commercials are so cute that they demand the viewers attention. My favorite part in the series is when the little girl confuses 'spinach' and 'spanish', and the little boy is quick to correct her. Also, the little boy in the "Injured" commercial explains how a man received a rather painful injury.

The use of cute kids in ads is extremely smart. Adults form connections with ads that have memorable characters or spokesperson, and little kids like the ones used in the Trigon BlueCross BlueShield commercials are perfect.
