Technology has allowed him to live again 14 years later.
Direct TV teamed up with David Spade who portrayed his original film character.
Original shots from the movie were then edited into the piece that Spade had redone.
"Never gets old" is the line that Spade delivers at the end of the ad.
Just like this scene never does get old, Direct TV promotes its abundance of channels, which ultimately equals anti-boredom.
The man down by the river will always be missed.
