JCPenny's New Look is Being Judged













You've seen the new commercials and ads for JCPenny, but have you seen they just signed on a new spokesperson for their advertisements. Yes, daytime talk show host, Ellen Degeneres.


Degeneres also does ads for Covergirl along with Taylor Swift and Drew Barrymore, so this gig is nothing new for her. But see, there are some issues with a certain group of people with this new decision.


An American Family Association Division: One Million Moms, decided to give their input to JCPenny by saying they should think twice because she is an open lesbian. JCPenny is standing by Degeneres and keeping her as their front spokesperson. 


According to www.tvguide.com, Degeneres' talk show has an average of 3 million viewers a day. And with a closer look in researching, it was ironic to find who her demographic of viewers are.“Ellen” ranked as the #2 talk program in all of syndication among the key talk demographic of Women 25–54, following only “Oprah.” The series’ Household rating is up +10%, its Women 25–54 up +14%, its Women 18–49 up +8% and its Women 18–34 +20%," (http://www.deadline.com/2010/07/the-ellen-degeneres-show-renewed-on-stations-covering-over-99-of-u-s/).


So I wonder, are the One Million Moms in the category of the million of moms who watch Ellen's show everyday?
