Animals in Advertising

Man's best friend may also be man's best advertising pitch. As I'm watching the 2012 Super Bowl--only for the advertisements, of course--I'm starting to see a trend: Adorable animals taking over as the stars of memorable commercials. Animals are beloved by almost everyone for their carefree and loving nature, and distinct personalities. Cats and dogs aren't judgmental or greedy, and people are easily attracted to them and feel compassion for them. So using animals within advertisements will certainly get America's attention, and this shows during the 2012 Super Bowl. As well as its game day counterpart, with an intergalactic twist:

The flurry of animal-starring advertisements in the 2012 Super Bowl is a big sign to advertisers--cute and fuzzy works. Americans love their pets, and starring them on the screen sells. Perhaps more animals will appear in commercials in 2012. I certainly won't complain if I see more of Mr. Quiggly the French bulldog:
