So Easy a 3 Year Old Could Do It.

Everyone knows that one of the things that makes your product successful and set's it apart from others is branding. Once you have a notable brand in place it is almost unthinkable to rebrand the product's name-- almost. And if you do decide to rebrand your products name, you'd probably assemble a creative team and intensively decide what to change it to, right?

Well grocery store giant Sainsbury has announced to change the name of it's "Tiger Bread" to "Giraffe Bread" with no marketing team or creative directors, but from an online campaign that was started by a three-year old's letter.

Lily Robinson with the help of her mother wrote to Sainsbury, asking, "Why is Tiger Bread called Tiger Bread? It should be called Giraffe Bread". The company responded with a note and gift card sent to the house which Lily's mother posted on social media haven Facebook which triggered a reaction in the thousands around the world.

Ultimately, Sainsbury announced the change of the name officially last week.

I found it very comforting that Sainsbury showed and appreciated the efforts of a three year old and proves to be an model company.
But, honestly, who ever named it Tiger Bread to begin with needs to reevaluate their animal prints...
