Make It Count

http://youtu.be/WxfZkMm3wcg

This video is an advertisement created by Casey Neistat. He says that Nike gave him a budget to create a movie for their product FuelBand. Instead of creating a movie he traveled around the world and videotaped his experiences. The 10 days that he spent traveling he lived  by the expression "Make It Count". This phrase is the tagline for the product. When he edited the clips, he added quotes that relate to the message "Make It Count". For example, he quoted Albert Einstein "I never worry about the future, it comes soon enough". Although Neistat claims that he did his own thing and spent the money traveling, from an advertising perspective it is easy to see he had planned every part of the trip. He filmed it to create a viral video that would target the audiences on YouTube.

The tagline for the FuelBand plays along with and relates to Nike's saying "Just Do It". Neistat creates a testimony for the FuelBand showing that he made the 10 days of his life he spent traveling count. The ultimate message being told is to live life without fear of trying new things and making the one life that you have the best life possible. This video causes me to want to take action, purchase the FuelBand and get out into the world and start making my life count.
